We are seeking an Amusement Manager for our Burbank, CA location at the Burbank Towne Center. As the Amusement Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of our arcades and cranes, ensuring they are well-managed and profitable. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the games in optimal condition, handling cash, implementing promotional strategies, and providing top-notch customer service.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Achieve sales targets by following company policies efficiently.
  • Assist customers and conduct minor repairs on machines when needed.
  • Explain game rules to customers and address any complaints about machine malfunctions.
  • Create work schedules, assign tasks to employees, and monitor inventory levels.
  • Supervise department employees to ensure compliance with operating practices.
  • Ensure all amusement employees are well-trained and reports are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues, and enforce company policies.
  • Monitor staffing levels, prevent theft, and maintain a pleasing store appearance.
  • Track departmental sales, enhance customer base, and contribute to operational improvements.
  • Conduct age restriction control and handle customer complaints effectively.
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising staff.
  • Perform various shift duties, manage cash, and handle invoices.
  • Travel for company-related errands and assignments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful Amusement Managers/Supervisors should have excellent customer service skills, integrity, and strong communication abilities. Critical thinking, analytical skills, and appreciation for diversity are essential.



EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: A background in retail management with an Associate's degree and 2-3 years of experience is preferred, especially in the entertainment, retail, or hospitality sectors.


WORK ENVIRONMENT: The role involves working in a bowling center/arcade with high noise levels but offers a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The position requires mobility, flexibility, standing for extended periods, and the ability to lift heavy objects.
