Field Service Technician

- Removal and installation of rotating equipment.
- Perform start-ups/commissioning of equipment.
- Rotating equipment repair, recommendations to customers on repair options.
- Preventative and predictive maintenance of rotating equipment.
- Rotating Equipment assembly/disassembly & alignments.
- Push/pull pumps and motors.
- Install seals/packing.
- Basic equipment maintenance (change oil, basic PM, troubleshoot basic mechanics, reporting).
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You'll Need:
- High School or equivalent, with mechanical aptitude and skills.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance, repair, or millwright experience.
- Able to operate and read from a computer/laptop monitor; experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to obtain MEC (Medical Examiner's Certificate) under DOT as a 'non-CDL' commercial motor vehicle driver.
- Ability to travel to customer sites, including overnight trips up to 2 weeks.
- Able to wear personal protection equipment, including a respirator as necessary.
- Able to see differences between colors, shades, and brightness.
- Able to hear sounds and designate differences between them, and talk via telephone and electronic devices in the workplace.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to work outdoors and possibly in inclement weather, willingness to work in wastewater environments as necessary.
