Job Details- Director of Nursing - Acute
Location- Great Bend, KS
Salary: $115-135K (Depending on Experience)
Benefits: Generous PTO, 401K options, Relocation assistance available
- Requirements: A minimum of three to five years of supervisory experience in hospital/Acute care
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Kansas Registered Nurse License or Compact License
- Triage experience
- Knowledge of general nursing and practice
- Ability to manage and direct associates.
- Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Kansas or has work permit from the State Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification required or must complete BLS certification with in the first 30 days of employment.
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- ACLS certification
- ENPC or PALS is required within one year of employment; additional certification may be required for certain patient care settings or populations.

Job Description/General Duties: Provides positive leadership in an environment of teamwork, open communication, and customer service | Establishes and oversees compliance with regulatory and certifying agencies standards | Responsible for human resources processes including interviewing and orientating staff, ongoing performance management, and timekeeping/scheduling. Assists with financial management by developing and maintaining budget | Assists in developing policies, procedures and protocols to maintain standards of care and regulatory requirements.
