The Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, resolve technical issues, and support the company's strategic goals.


ResponsibilitiesRoles and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, supply chain, and R&D, to support new product introductions and resolve technical issues.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental requirements in all manufacturing processes.
Manage capital projects related to manufacturing equipment, facilities, and automation systems.
Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process specifications.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for manufacturing-related issues.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in manufacturing engineering.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven approach to process improvement.
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and automation.
Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement tools.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and levels of the organization.
Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental requirements applicable to manufacturing operations.
Experience with CAD/CAM software and familiarity with CNC machining and programming preferred.
Ability to analyze manufacturing data using statistical methods and software tools.
Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

QualificationsQualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.2. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.3. Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.4. Experience in the automotive, aerospace, or semiconductor industries is preferred.5. Certification in lean manufacturing (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.6. Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software applications.7. Ability to travel occasionally as needed.
