About the Role:
- Provide physics services in Radiation Oncology Department to ensure high-quality radiation treatment and safety of patients/staff.
- Participate in radiation equipment/software quality assurance program and treatment planning procedures.
- Conduct brachytherapy and special procedures, ensuring radiation equipment performance, maintenance, safety, and staff training.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Master's degree in Medical Physics from a CAMPEP-accredited program
- Passed Part I of the American Board of Radiology certification examination in Therapeutic Medical Physics
- Two years of prior work experience in a full-service radiation therapy center
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of networks and interfaces
