We are looking for a qualified hepatologist to manage disorders in the liver, and the biliary tree. The candidate should have had a minimum of 12-month training in Hepatology. The responsibilities of a hepatologist include consulting on patients with liver diseases in an outpatient and inpatient setting. In addition, the successful hepatologist, should exhibit compassion for patients and provide exceptional patient care. The Liver Center at the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute cares for patients with a wide variety of liver diseases such as alcohol associated liver disease, metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease, chronic viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver disease, cirrhosis and its complications including hepatocellular carcinoma, vascular disorders of the liver, genetic disorders of the liver including hemochromatosis, alpha-1-antitrypsin deficiency, and Wilson disease.
