Job Description:

This role is dedicated to ensuring the continuous and safe provision of water to the City. Responsibilities include monitoring water quality, inspecting and maintaining water facilities, addressing customer inquiries, and collaborating with internal staff and residents.

Essential Functions:
  • Conduct water quality checks, inspect water storage systems, and address equipment malfunctions
  • Adhere to Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations by managing water quality concerns and maintaining records
  • Support customer service efforts by overseeing backflow inspections and handling water-related complaints
  • Provide assistance in the installation and repair of water and sewer utilities
Requirements: Education & Experience
  • Equivalent to six months of advanced training beyond high school and one year of relevant experience
  • Alternative education and experience combinations will be evaluated
Certifications and Other Requirements
  • Valid Texas Class A CDL Driver's License
  • Current Class D TCEQ Water License with the ability to obtain a Class C TCEQ Water License within twelve months of hire OR a valid Class C TCEQ Water License
