Given the growth of our business, we are adding to our US Human Resource Consulting team with a Payroll Specialist.

The ideal person for this role will be a proven self-starter who is passionate and experienced in implementing and managing payroll for growing and geographically companies with employees not only throughout the US, but possibly globally.

This role will partner with a Senior HR Consultant and will process and administer payroll for our clients, working within their payroll platforms.


What you will be doing:
Providingexceptional payroll support and administration for our clients, often small growing companies with employees in multiple states.

This role would be working in partnership with a Senior HR Consultant who manages all areas of the employee life cycle for our clients.

This role will handle day-to-day payroll needs for our clients, from systems management, onboarding of new hires, reporting, leave management, and employee terminations or final pay processing.

HR & payroll administration for our clientsis complex, with remote employees in various states, so you'll need to stay current on the latest practices to ensure compliance with various state and federal payroll regulations.

Experience in the selection, implementation and setup of payroll systems like Gusto, Paylocity, Quickbooks Payroll, BambooHR or other relevant non-enterprise systems that work for small companies.

Benefits Administration experience with renewals, managing brokers, leveraging systems like Employee Navigator or another HRIS, and onboarding /offboardingemployees to support is ideal.

Supporting the collaboration and growth of Hire Ventures and our team; participating in team meetings.
Telling the Hire Ventures story via LinkedIn and other social platforms to strengthen the Hire Ventures brand.

To be considered you must have the following:
Ideally, a degree in Business, Human Resources, or relevant and equivalent experience
Must have 3+ years of progressive and relevant experience

Demonstrated ability to work independently, be motivated, articulate and make sound decisions under the position guidelines - in a positive, results-driven and forward-thinking manner.

Should have an active presence in the professional world, especially LinkedIn.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the following:

Ability to communicate with a variety of people in a polite and professional manner, with a high attention to detail.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Must be coachable, collaborative and have a growth mindset.
