Pulmonary Physician Position at Washington University

We are looking for a Pulmonary Physician with academic and clinical expertise to join our growing program at Washington University. The ideal candidate should be ACGME Board Eligible, Board Certified, or have completed an accredited fellowship program in Pulmonary.


Qualifications:
  • Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the US
  • Residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs

Preferred Experience: Board certified or eligible in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, with a focus on teaching or research experience. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.


Duties:
  • Participation in the coverage of the Medical Intensive Care Unit
  • Providing inpatient and outpatient Pulmonary consultative services
  • Conducting bronchoscopies and other invasive procedures
  • Teaching students, residents, and fellows
  • Evaluating a variety of patients with respiratory conditions

Physical Requirements: Moderate lifting, light carrying, walking, standing, work closely with others, and work alone.
