Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to diagnose and manage a variety of injuries and illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure adequate call coverage by coordinating with other medical staff for time off.
2. Uphold the standard of care for the patient population.
3. Maintain a private practice office and oversee clinical decision-making during service hours.
4. Provide guidance in establishing operational policies, including:
a. Financial management and budgeting
b. Participation in managed care plans
c. Compliance with Medicare/Medicaid regulations
d. Billing and collection processes
e. Personnel management policies
f. Risk management and quality assurance
g. Coding compliance
5. Participate in after-hours call coverage for practice patients, in addition to regular office appointments.
6. Engage in community service initiatives, including speaking engagements and clinical programs.
7. Ensure adherence to risk management, coding compliance, and quality assurance protocols.
8. Maintain a vigilant and safe working environment.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
1. Frequent communication through speech.
2. Regular standing and walking.
3. Occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Frequent use of vision for near and far distances.
5. Regular auditory communication and recognition of sounds.
6. Occasional driving and mobility tasks.
Licensure and Certifications:
Must possess a valid physician license for the state of practice.
