JOB SCOPE

A Barback plays a pivotal role in supporting the bartender in ensuring efficient bar service, encompassing stocking, inventory management, and maintaining beverage quality and cleanliness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings
  • Adherence to safety and sanitation regulations
  • Stocking, cleaning, and preparing beverages under bartender's guidance
  • Cash handling and inventory management
  • Creating a welcoming bar environment for guests
  • Ensuring bar area is properly stocked and organized
  • Upholding safety and sanitation standards
  • Providing exceptional customer service
REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate must be capable of excelling in all key responsibilities, multitasking, demonstrating strong communication skills, maintaining a positive attitude, and exhibiting a professional work ethic. A flexible schedule is required, including availability for daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant setting.

SKILLS

Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents, effective communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

CERTIFICATIONS

Valid Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Training Certificate upon hire.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The role involves prolonged standing, occasional walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and close vision work.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Operating primarily behind the bar, the environment may include moderate to loud noise levels and exposure to smoke, heat, and cold.
