Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and establishment of configuration and data management standards, strategies, processes, and tools in connection with product support
  • Define and supervise configuration and data management tasks, prerequisites, documentation, models, and outcomes for product support
  • Collaborate with AvionX engineering team to ensure a seamless shift from design/production to support operations
  • Continuously evaluate and appraise existing configuration management procedures (baseline, release, change, and configuration control) for enhancements and effectiveness. Revise, scrutinize, and create new documents as needed
  • Attend and/or administer Engineering Decisions Boards and the Change Control Boards for the product line, Program Management assessments, and other functional gatherings, uphold agenda, minutes, and authorization artifacts
  • Aid in crafting and executing Product Support/Sustainment program blueprints with restricted scope comprising impacts, challenges, and integration of past experiences concerning configuration management
  • Introduce training resources for Product Support to be embraced by AvionX staff worldwide

Minimum Qualifications (Mandatory Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry from a recognized institution
  • Extensive experience of 7+ years in configuration management methodologies and procedures
  • 5+ years of hands-on involvement in engineering baseline, release, and configuration control enforcement and methodologies
  • 5+ years of exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Configuration Management systems, Change Management, and PLM Practices and Tools
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
