Shift Hours: Evening/Night. A combination of 2 twelve-hour shifts and 2 eight-hour shifts, with rotating weekends and holidays.

7PM - 7AM, 11PM - 7AM, and 3PM - 11PM

SUMMARY:

Function:
Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse.

Scope:
Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs.
  • Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit/discharge and obtaining vital signs.
  • Updates and retrieves patient information.
  • Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner.
  • Acts as part of an assigned care team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Directly from a registered nurse.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Required:

Experience Preferred:
Experience in an acute care setting as a Nursing Assistant

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Other Required:
Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
