Job Summary:

You will perform network engineering and design, creating engineering design artifacts, hands on administration, implementation, and troubleshooting of enterprise network systems.

Tasks include designingimplementing switch, firewall, and router configurations, utilizing knowledge and experience with network technologies, services, operations, and associated security practices.


NOTE:
We are seeking a Principal Network Engineer to work in our Aurora, CO location; with some travel to support operations and activities at the customer facilities in the CONUS, to support Installation, integration and test activities as needed

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to design, deploy, implement, modernize, and support scalable network solutions.

You will design/architect/develop and support these Network systems optimizing for performance and scalability across multiple computing environments.

You will utilize your Linux skills at the command line to deploy updates and change products for Cisco and Brocade based network systems to support program needs.

You will assist with migration from legacy on prem to Virtualized or Cloud based environments utilizing of tools such as VMWare.

You will provide guidance on network resource allocation, utilization, and optimization.

You will have the ability to lead small technical teams of network engineers as required to support design and deployment activities.

You need the ability to obtain Comp TIA Security Certification within 90 days.

Basic Qualifications:
Current DOD Secret security clearance is required day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 8 years of related work experience.

Experience designing, configuring, deploying, and supporting network systems (E.g. Cisco, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASA, Brocade). Experience with Linux System Administration (E.g. RHEL 6.0). Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.

g:
Scrum, SAFe)

Preferred Qualifications:
Current Networking Certification (CCNA, CCNP). Current Comp TIA Security certification. Familiarity with Cloud Application Platforms such as AWS. Experience with VM provisioning (E.g. VMWare / Vsphere). Experience with scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash). Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify). Experience integrating with identity management, access management, and authorization solutions (PKI, LDAP, OAUTH, OpenID). Experience with code repository systems (E.g. ClearCase, Bit Bucket). Experience using automation frameworks. Experience with containers. Experience conducting trade studies and analysis of competing technologies. Experience with coordination across a diverse set of contractors and customer personnel for multiple site locations.

Remote:

Aurora, CO: []) LI-Onsite The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
