Volt is immediately hiring a Supply Chain Manager in Jacksonville, FL for the largest manufacturer of electrical distribution and control systems.
In this role you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the organization's supply chain management and procurement operations, including, vendor relations, , logistics, and distribution at two facilities in Jacksonville FL.Our client delivers the most innovative electrical distribution product manufacturing systems in the world.
As a Supply Chain Manager you will:
Oversee and seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain strategy by reviewing current methodology and processesAssist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery, and returns on productsPlan and implement forecast projections to drive production and inventory planning goalsReview proposals, negotiate prices, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up on orders placed, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
May prepare bid packagesTrack KPIs and generate reports for supply chain performanceResearch and seek out the most cost-efficient shipment procedures and methodsCollaborate with other departments to create effective databases to manage and organize inventorBuild and maintain a relationship with vendors while promoting company initiatives and valuesOversee specific commodity ownership across IEM and assist other operations when required.
This is a full-time career opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, business analytics, mathematics, or other relevant field5+ years of experience in supply chain operationsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases, and ERP systems (Infor experience is a plus)Purchasing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment highly preferredExceptional communication and organizational skillsKnowledge of raw materials, production, processes, quality controls and costs
Pay Range:
$95-120K year.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
