Job Description

The HCH Bearing Americas team is looking for a Supply Chain Administrative Manager for a on-site role. We seek an individual with a robust background and proven expertise in supply chain management, capable of collaborating effectively with both clients and team members. The Administrative Manager will work closely with the General Manager and Sales team to facilitate the sales process from our production facility to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily supply chain operations, including processing purchase requisitions, overseeing inventory, placing orders, ensuring product quality, and preparing invoices, packing slips, and necessary documentation for the warehouse and clients.
  • Monitor the shipping status of finished goods to ensure adherence to timelines and delivery schedules, while coordinating with relevant personnel to address any issues that may arise.
  • Oversee inventory levels and provide recommendations for ordering and inventory transfers.
  • Conduct research to identify and reach out to potential customers, assisting in scheduling sales visits.
  • Organize and maintain all purchase orders, receiving documents, and delivery records in their appropriate files.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers and their staff.
  • Complete special projects and tasks as assigned.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping or supply chain management within a manufacturing context is preferred.
  • Highly organized and disciplined, with exceptional time management abilities. Capable of multitasking and effectively prioritizing tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Excel.
  • Willingness to undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.

Punctuality and Reliability are essential.
