As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Lithium Battery Module and Pack Manufacturing Manager to join our team.


Position Summary:


The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing processes, and managing the automation and manufacturing systems for lithium battery modules and packs.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in assembly automation systems, manufacturing processes, quality control, and maintenance, along with a proven track record of leadership and project management.

This position requires a commitment to excellence and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The position would begin with the planning and project management, installation, and commissioning of manufacturing systems and transition to support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and expansion.

Initially, an entire production facility is being created, which needs the buildout managed.

The facility is expected to grow and ramp up, so once in production changes and expansion of equipment and lines will need to be managed.


Key Responsibilities:
Facility layout, contractor management, and project management
Process creation, documentation, and troubleshooting.

Manage and oversee the performance of the lithium battery module and pack manufacturing systems, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Coordinate with the product development team to implement new manufacturing technologies and processes, improving productivity and reducing costs.
Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring that resources are available to meet production schedules.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet or exceed customer and industry standards.
Collaborate with the R&D department to support the development of new battery products and improvements to existing products.
Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, optimizing expenses and investments to achieve financial objectives.
Provide regular reports on manufacturing performance, challenges, and progress toward goals to senior management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing management role, preferably in the lithium battery or related industry.
Strong understanding of lithium battery technology, manufacturing processes, and equipment.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Excellent project management abilities, with a track record of successfully managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
Proficiency in quality control methodologies and lean manufacturing principles. Specifically ISO9001 and 5S
Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in office software like Word, Excel, and manufacturing management software.
