We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Mettler-Toledo. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production of vehicle scales, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Preparation: Assemble vehicle scale modules and assist in the loading of scale modules onto trucks for shipping.
- Kit Assembly and Packing: Kit assemble and pack accessories for vehicle scales orders and stock.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately enter data into the ERP System (SAP) for shipping and production activities, and maintain accurate records relating to production orders, data collection, and Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) sheets.
- Quality and Safety: Understand and strictly adhere to all quality and hazardous material guidelines, and perform daily activities safely with regards to self and others.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Complete preventative maintenance on machinery in work cell, and assist in identifying improvement opportunities.
- Inventory Management: Accurately maintain stock control, pull items for orders, and work in other departments as required to fulfill customer orders.
- Education and Experience: A High School Diploma or experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse setting.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read/interpret standard blueprints and other engineered documentation, ability to read a tape measure, work with various tools (hammers, torque wrench, crow bars, etc), and ability to operate a fork lift and overhead crane.
- Soft Skills: Good verbal communication, good problem solving skills, and experience with basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.
