Position Summary:
As a Production Engineer at Roquette, you will play a vital role in optimizing plant processes, troubleshooting mechanical and chemical issues, and ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality products while focusing on environmental sustainability. You will work closely with various departments and intercompany groups to enhance overall operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adherence to all Roquette & site policies related to HSE, Quality, and GMP
  • Participation in HSE programs and ensuring compliance
  • Leading and contributing to projects for operational improvement
  • Supporting site objectives and implementing best practices
  • Collaborating with supervisors and engineers for optimal process control
  • Overseeing project implementation, cost control, and quality monitoring
  • Facilitating process changes and maintaining SOPs
  • Driving continuous improvement through Six Sigma Methodology
  • Tracking departmental OEE and coordinating plant shutdowns
  • Networking with engineers to enhance plant knowledge
  • Conducting laboratory analyses and performing assigned duties
Requirements:
  • BS in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • New graduates welcome, with preferred minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Experience in various industries such as Corn Wet Milling, Ethanol Production, or Chemical Industry desired
  • Strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on time
  • Experience with OEE & SPC is advantageous
  • Green belt and Black belt certification preferred
  • Knowledge of PSM element implementation and compliance is a plus
