What you will do:

  • Participate in Upsell and SOS programs for additional commission opportunities
  • Handle service calls from the Service Resource Center and diagnose equipment/system malfunctions
  • Conduct service and repairs on electronic fire alarm systems and related building system products at customer sites
  • Follow troubleshooting procedures and technical manuals to repair equipment
  • Service, troubleshoot, and install various Fire & Life Safety systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and specifications
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service by ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Complete Service Acknowledgements accurately using communication devices like smartphones and laptops
  • Participate in scheduled On-call rotation
  • Assist in training or mentoring other team members
  • Perform assigned duties

What we look for:

Required:

  • Valid Texas Fire Alarm License - FAL
  • 2+ years of experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical manuals
  • Familiarity with test equipment and commissioning devices
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform physical tasks
  • Capacity to work flexible hours and maintain customer service standards
  • Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background and drug tests
  • Retain necessary licenses required by codes

Preferred:

  • NICET Level II certification
