Sales Operations Analyst

Description:
The Sales analytics team is currently inundated with a special project that is taking up the analysts time. They need to bring in a consultant to help support the overall workflow and help them get work done as they are pulled into the project.
This person will work on the analytics team and they need to be a well-rounded candidate. On the one side, they need to be customer focused because they will be interfacing with sales leadership and need to be able to present their data to Directors and above while being able to effectively communicate. On the other hand, they need to be technically sound. They must have advanced skills in Excel, PowerBI and SQL but NOT be a developer or an IT person.
This role will be responsible for assisting the Sales Analytics team in its day-to-day operations, including handling ad-hoc data reporting, managing access requests, and performing other tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Ad-Hoc Data Reporting: Respond to ad-hoc data requests from the sales team, leadership, and other internal departments.
Extract, analyze, and present relevant data using analytics tools and software.
Manage Access Requests: Process and handle access requests for the sales analytics tools.
Ensure that only authorized personnel have access and that permissions are correctly configured.
Daily Support: Collaborate with the Sales Analytics team to understand daily needs and provide the necessary support to ensure smooth operations. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to processes, data sources, and reporting methodologies.
Communication: Act as a liaison between the sales analytics team and other departments, ensuring timely and efficient communication of data-related queries and requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and work with the Sales Analytics team to implement them.
What is Required:
2+ years of analytical experience (Sales Operations, Operations, Sales Reporting, etc.)
Technical skills: Excel, PowerBi (being able to build dashboards), SQL (being able to write some code)
Soft skills: Being able to command a message, self-motivated, time-management, communication skills, timely follow up, presentation skills
