We are currently in search of a dynamic Regional Manager to join our Leadership Team. The Regional Property Manager oversees the overall operational performance of a portfolio of up to 1000 units spanning across Ventura County and LA County. Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic plans tailored to each property's unique requirements, executing revenue-boosting initiatives, and closely monitoring the financial performance of each property. Adaptability to changing market conditions and making timely, sound business decisions aligned with the property owners' objectives are essential.
Financial success will be achieved through effective leadership, coaching of on-site staff, and transparent communication of objectives. The Regional Property Manager also collaborates with senior management and other departments on special projects as necessary.
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent practical experience
Certificates/Licenses:
- Valid California Driver's License
- Real Estate License mandatorily required
- CPM, CAPS, and/or CAM certifications are advantageous
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- 3-5 years of robust residential property management experience in a similar capacity
- Prior multi-site management exposure
- Strong and proven leadership qualities. Proactive and self-driven
- Exceptional communication skills, both diplomatic and efficient
- Ability to establish good relationships with tenants, vendors, colleagues, and superiors
- Proficiency in relevant housing laws, such as Fair Housing, Equal Employment Opportunity, ADA, and OSHA standards
- Familiarity with property maintenance, marketing, operations, and financial management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Competence in Property Management Software, preferably Yardi
