**Job Description**

**AECOM** is seeking a Civil Engineer which can be based in several locations along the West Coast.

**Job Responsibilities:**

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Undertaking design activities on maritime projects - container terminals, mining/bulk, oil/gas, marinas, ports and harbors, coastal DOD facilities, coastal defense, and development schemes

+ Civil design for terminals across the United States

+ Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings

+ Independently prepare engineering related calculations and develop civil technical specifications, plans, and details

+ Uses computer software as a tool for solving engineering problems

+ Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule

+ Provides guidance to entry level engineers

+ Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements**

+ BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

+ Professional Engineer Registration with the ability to attain a Washington State Professional Engineer Registration within 6 months

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Masters Degree plus 5 years of related experience

+ Experience with computer aided design (AutoCAD)

+ Experience with ArcGIS

+ Preferred experience with Ports and Marine

+ Experience in the design of marine terminals, naval facilities, and port facilities

+ Enthusiastic, hard-working, technically proficient, with ambition and drive

**Additional Information**

+ U.S. Citizenship is required for this position

+ Relocation is available for this position

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $115, $149,
