is looking for a Senior Associate, Corporate Accountant and Fund Operations for managing monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, retrieving financial statements and results, and generating periodical reports based on data auditing accounts.

This position will be crucial in identifying, assessing, managing, and monitoring all investment management business and company capital.

The role will require a deep understanding of accounting, and the ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience working for private equity, venture capital, asset management and/or fixed income investments.


Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and ensure that they comply with accounting principles and tax laws and regulations

Develop and maintain accurate financial records for the company

Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and ensure timely processing, recording, and payment of invoices

Oversee the corporate administration functions

Coordinate, deposit, and withdrawal corporate bank account for operation

Manage the various regulations and procedures necessary for the operation of the corporate-side

Liaise with Hanwha Asset Management (HQ)s middle/back-office policy

Build a corporate finance and accounting policy for expense control & approval.

Regulatory Reporting (SEC and Korean Financial Supervisory Service)

Support of incidental tasks related to fund-side accounting and auditing

Ad-hoc projects and requests

Qualifications:
Bachelor's (Required) / BS/BA in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.

5+ years of relevant corporate accounting experience including financial statement preparation in financial investment company (7-9 years preferred)

Experience with Korean GAAP preferred

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.

General knowledge of and familiarity with financial instruments (i.e. equities,

fixed income, options, swaps, futures, foreign exchange) within both domestic and

global securities markets

Ability to multitask and demonstrate problem solving skills in a fast-paced

environment

Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual

Well organized, quick learner, flexible and pro-active, and strong work ethic

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office

Excellent oral/written communication skills (English/Korean Preferred)
