Description:
Position Summary
Our client is in search of a highly motivated IT Business Process Specialist- Expert to bolster the PMO Standards. In this position, you will be accountable for devising, executing, and upholding project management standards, methodologies, and best practices throughout the organization.
This role plays a critical role in ensuring uniformity and efficiency in project delivery by curating training materials that leverage Enterprise guidance and industry best practices, along with providing guidance, training, and assistance to project managers and teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Standards:
    • Create, update, and enforce project management standards, templates, and processes using Enterprise framework.
    • Ensure alignment of all project documentation with enterprise standards and industry best practices.
    • Establish a Project Management Community of Practice.
  • Methodology and Frameworks:
    • Devise and implement project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) suited to the organization's requirements.
    • Regularly review and enhance methodologies to adapt to evolving business environments and technologies.
  • Training and Support:
    • Lead training sessions for project managers and team members on PMO standards and methodologies.
    • Conduct workshops and training programs to boost project management capabilities across the organization.
  • Governance and Compliance:
    • Supervise project compliance according to established standards and methodologies.
    • Perform routine audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to PMO policies and procedures.
  • Tools and Systems:
    • Manage and optimize project management tools and systems.
    • Provide assistance and training on the utilization of project management software and tools.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements.
    • Implement best practices and insights from concluded projects.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Develop and maintain documentation for all PMO processes and standards.
    • Produce regular reports on project status, compliance, and performance metrics.
    • Assist in automating reports and streamlining reporting processes.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to grasp their needs and requirements.
    • Ensure stakeholder involvement and support for PMO standards and initiatives.

Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, ACP, SAFe, or similar project management certification is advantageous.

Experience:
  • At least 7 to 10 years of experience in project management or a PMO role.
  • Background in leading PMOs and handling complex programs/projects using waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing a PMO.
  • Experience in creating and implementing project management standards and methodologies.
  • Developing training materials and leading training sessions for large teams.

Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of project management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, training, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Planisware, PPM).
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
