Department Overview

The Information & Records Governance (IRG) group enhances the records and information management program of the Functional Areas (FA) by implementing control measures to handle records efficiently and in compliance with regulations.

Position Summary

This role as a Business Analyst, Expert in the IRG Operations and Support team involves spearheading process improvement endeavors to enhance records and information management at PG&E.

This position is a blend of remote and on-site work as per business requirements.

A salary range estimation has been provided by PG&E, taking into consideration various factors such as skills, education, and market dynamics.

Job Responsibilities

Lead diverse process improvement initiatives effectively, providing guidance, training, and support to stakeholders.

Assist in resolving complex problems and innovating solutions with an emphasis on presenting recommendations to leaders.

Support the implementation of process inventories and engage with regional leadership for updates on records and information processes.

Analyze business processes, prioritize projects and coordinate initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive process ownership mindset among stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has:

Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders for implementing process improvements.

Proficiency in lean program management, change leadership, and effective communication.

Strong analytical skills and a focus on documentation.

Track record of successful project and program management.

Energy and passion for information governance.

Knowledge of Utility industry operations and ability to embed records management into business processes.

Ability to provide metrics and support dashboard development.

Qualifications

Minimum:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Library and Information Systems, Information Technology, Legal Studies, or related field.

At least 6 years of experience in records management, information governance, or related areas.

Desired:

MBA or graduate degree in relevant field.

Experience in Utility or construction companies.

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles, ARMA International's recordkeeping guidelines, and RIM legal compliance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, change management mindset, and ability to deliver technical training.
