Certified Nurse Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:
Performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients; assists in maintenance of safe and clean environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
2. Completion of Nurse Assistant training program and successful certification.
3. Must maintain nursing assistant certification while employed at RRH.
4. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
5. Continuing education required for renewal certificate.
6. BLS certification required and maintained thereafter.
7. Must successfully pass Telemetry Competency Test within 6 months of employment and maintained yearly thereafter.
8. Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language.
9. Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and co-workers.
