Learn about a nursing career at RRH:.rrh.org/nurses What#s it like to work at RRH?:| Kern County Hospitals# Seeking candidates with multiple levels of experience for other positions QUALIFICATIONS: # 1.# Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license from the Respiratory Care Board of California and certified by the National# # Board for Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) RRT). # 2.# Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification required within three (3) years of hire for all new RCP# # employees. # 3.# Minimum of 3 years acute care experience within the past 5 years. # 4.# BLS Certification required and maintained thereafter. # 5.# ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required and maintained. # 6.# PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required and maintained. # 7.# NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required and maintained. # 8.# Successful completion of RRH respiratory therapy intubation training and annual competency. # 9.# Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language. 10.# Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families and co-workers.
