Seattle, Washington, United States Amazon Services LLC Full time

Principal TPM at Publisher Technologies

The PubTech (Publisher Technologies) team develops and manages services that empower publishers to enhance the monetization of their customer experiences, as well as the experiences themselves.

We prioritize standards-based and flexible designs that enable publishers to innovate on top of our solutions and to collaborate effectively with other advertising technology providers, both internal and external.

We are in search of a Principal TPM who will be tasked with defining and executing programs with significant complexity and/or broad cross-organizational, global, or technology impact.

Your role will revolve around leading large-scale engineering initiatives that address highly complex or recurring issues.

You will have the autonomy to operate independently and will often focus on areas where the business and architectural strategy is yet to be established.

You excel in engaging with leadership at all levels and are skilled at fostering agreement.

You have the ability to articulate complex decisions, difficult trade-offs, and potential solutions clearly to leaders three levels above to assist them in comprehending the decisions they need to make and the available options.

You wield influence over organizational priorities, system owners, business, and technology direction. You oversee cross-functional communication to ensure all stakeholders are well-informed and aligned.

You can identify when ongoing programs are at risk of repeating past technology failures and actively guide teams to avoid such recurrences.

You are proficient at recognizing when a design or solution necessitates additional technical insight (e.g., from senior engineers or subject matter experts). You display sound judgment in managing escalations at the executive level. You deliver solutions that meet Amazon's high criteria for customer satisfaction, efficiency, stability, extensibility, simplicity, and operational excellence.

You expand your influence by educating the TPM and engineering communities (e.g., within your organization, at your location, or more broadly) on best practices in program management.

You engage in knowledge-sharing and collaboration with other TPMs, including attending and/or presenting at internal conferences.

Austin, TX, USA | New York, NY, USA | Seattle, WA, USA
