Position: Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant (Contract)
Schedule: Part-time (20 hours/week), Hybrid (90% remote)
Location: San Diego, CA

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant to handle financial records, including Accounts Payable, Assets Management, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional image for the Company.
- Assist Purchasing Department with various tasks.
- Handle vendor accounts and documentation.
- Enter and reconcile invoices.
- Manage project expenses and job costing.
- Assist with special projects.
- Handle payroll and intercompany expenses.
- Administer asset purchases and tagging.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Business or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in a venture-backed start-up is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and provide excellent customer service.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Must possess a steady demeanor and maintain confidentiality.
