Overview:
Provides supervision of direct care staff and consumer services at assigned residential respite program.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of assigned program with the goal of providing quality are and physical well being of individuals utilizing residential respite services.

To serve SHFS, Inc as a Management team member.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and implementation of weekly program activities.

Responsible for the assessment and evaluation of current needs of the program population.

Facilitate and schedule meetings of funding agencies, family members and clinical team members as needed.

To lead by example, direct and motivate SHFS staff and volunteers in the accomplishment of the successful achievement of Performance Based Objectives and project outcomes.

Maintains a high level of personal presence and accessibility in program areas relevant to the management of assigned programs.

To participate in the recruitment and hiring of staff, Family Based Providers and volunteers.

To complete all Family Services Intake procedures including the completion of all required documentation and associated FTS data entry.

Responsible for the daily operation of assigned program in accordance with all policies and procedures set forth by SHFS, SHF, and all federal and/or state licensing agency regulations which SHFS is required to follow.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the program including maintenance, fiscal management, vehicle upkeep and purchasing of supplies.

To manage assigned program staff payroll budgets and other budget line items/program expenses as assigned.

In conjunction with Area Director, to clearly identify yearly allocations with funding sources for individuals/families supported and to maintain accurate unit/dollars used and remaining (FTS).

In conjunction with Area Coordinators, to manage and maintain Family Billing as related to unit usage.

To assure that all employees and volunteers understand and support the mission and goals of SHFS and SHF, Inc.

Responsible for the coordination, supervision and evaluation of staff volunteers and interns assigned to respite program.

Responsible for the development and distribution of program information as needed.

Attend monthly Family Services Management Team meetings as scheduled.

To participate as a Family Services Representative to committees/councils as assigned.

To uphold the SHFS courtesy expediency of returning all correspondence to Individuals, Family members and funding sources, within twenty-four
(24) hours.

Responsible for the development and distribution of program information as needed.

Attend monthly Family Services Management Team meetings as scheduled.

To participate as a Family Services Representative to committees/councils as assigned.

To coordinate and assure compliance of Quality of Life Areas as outlined by OUTCOMES to include; *People are valued, *Peoples rights are affirmed, *Peoples rights are protected, *People are understood, People make choices in their everyday lives, * People are the primary decision makers in their lives, *People accomplish their goals, * People have autonomy, *People grow through life experiences, *People are safe, *People are free from harm, *People maintain good health and *Peoples funds are safeguarded.


Qualifications:
BA preferred or related field with two (2) years experience working with individuals with disabilities.

First Aid, CPR and HRO certified.

Valid Driver's License required.
