We are currently seeking experienced Quality Control Inspectors from the Aerospace Field for one of our Aerospace Manufacturing Facilities.
Pay Rate:
$20-$26/hour
Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM Monday - Friday
Description:
The Quality Inspector performs various receiving inspections, in-process inspections, verification of completed paperwork, identifying non-conformance issues, final product inspection and checking dimensions of production detail parts and assemblies using hand tools such as calipers, scales, micrometers and height gauge.
Ensure procedures and work instructions are followed, resolving quality related issues with internal or external customers.
Perform receiving, 1st piece checks, in process, and final inspection, as required.
Generate required reports, perform verifications, tracking of data and recommendation of process improvements
Verify incoming product to ensure purchase orders and customer requirements are met.
Verify assemblies meet all customer requirements.
Ensure that instruments used for product acceptance are in calibration prior to use.
Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances per established procedures.
Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
Create manufacturing and distribution PPAP submissions per customer requirements
Create AS9102 cert packages for FAIRs, when required.
Create a Detailed Inspection Plan using designated software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to understand customer specifications and requirements.
Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerances as well as blue print reading. (GD&T) (REQUIRED)
Skilled using measuring equipment, such as scales, calipers, micrometers, hand tools, Rulers, Pin Gages, Radius Gages, Comparator,
Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, and AS910- AS9102 REQUIRED
Knowledge of FAI's, DIP's, and Net Inspect.
Strong computer skills is a MUST Microsoft office, Excel, Advanced PDF software, Word.
Capable of communicating clearly and professionally by telephone, email or in person.
High School Diploma or GED required
