Walden Security is currently hiring experienced Court Security Officers (CSOs), offering a sign-on bonus of $1000 after 90 days on the contract.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform entrance control: Enforce entry and identification systems, operate security screening equipment, and check for prohibited items.
- Perform roving patrol: Patrol court facilities and grounds according to post orders.
- Perform stationary post assignments: Guard stationary posts, monitor security equipment, and courtrooms.
- Perform escort duties: Provide armed escort services as required.
- Perform garage parking and pedestrian control: Direct traffic on court facility properties.
- Enforce law and order: Detain unauthorized individuals and maintain safety.
- Prepare reports and records: Document contract performance and security incidents.
- Court attendance: Secure courtrooms and inspect security devices.
- Preserve order: Provide security presence in courtrooms and enforce regulations.
Requirements:
- Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED, minimum of 3 years as a certified law enforcement officer or equivalent.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English, ability to apply rules and procedures.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver's license, clearance from the Department of Justice, completion of law enforcement training.
- Other Qualifications: Minimum age of 21, pass drug screen and background check.
- Physical Demands: Meet medical standards specified by the USMS.
