Network Engineer

proficient in automation, scripting, and DevOps practices to become a valued member of our Network Operation team.

In this position, you'll be at the forefront of optimizing network operations and elevating efficiency. Your duties encompass implementing and maintaining sophisticated network and system infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud.

Leveraging your proficiency in programming and automation tools, you'll contribute to the development of scalable, and streamlined network automation solutions to drive business achievements.

Responsibilities
Deploying and maintaining network and system infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and virtual platforms.
Implementing and managing automation systems and processes to provision network resources and configurations.

This involves overseeing provisioning workflows, integrating automation tools, and fostering collaboration across teams to ensure accurate deployment of network services.

Implement automation scripts to streamline network deployments, provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks, enhancing operational efficiency.

Maintaining detailed documentation of network configurations, automation workflows, and troubleshooting procedures to facilitate seamless operations and knowledge transfer within the team.

Collaborating closely with diverse teams, including network architects, security specialists, and development teams, to find opportunities for improving existing infrastructure, automation workflows, and optimizing processes.


Required Technical skills:


Proficiency in networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols like BGP and OSPF, along with VPN technologies.

Demonstrated expertise in networking hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Big F5, etc.
Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code for automating network deployment and operations

(Preferred Languages:

Python, Perl, PowerShell, and Bash)
Solid comprehension of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, covering command line utilities and file system management
Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and services
Working knowledge of network automation frameworks like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Preferred Technical skills:
Good understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for managing automation scripts and configurations.
Exposure with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and GitLab for automating deployment processes
Experience working in DevOps or Agile environments.

Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field.
2 to 5 years of demonstrated ability in network operations and network automation in related roles.
Possession of relevant certifications is a plus
Exceptional abilities in solving complex network issues and debugging automation scripts.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork
