Openings: 5-10 including supervisor role

Required criteria:

Must have experience as an Obstetric RN

Preferred criteria:

> Trial of labor after cesarean experience (aka TOLAC)

Job Description:
> Assessing and monitoring the mother's vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature
> Monitoring fetal heart rate and uterine contractions using electronic fetal monitoring equipment
> Assisting with the management of pain relief options, such as medication administration, breathing techniques, and relaxation methods
> Providing emotional support, reassurance, and education to the mother and her family members
> Assisting the healthcare team in the implementation of the birth plan and ensuring the safety and well-being of both the mother and the baby
> Providing peripartum care, including monitoring the mother's recovery, assisting with breastfeeding, and providing education on newborn care
> Administering medications as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
> Documenting all assessments, interventions, and observations accurately and promptly in the patient's medical record
> Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, pediatricians, anaesthesiologists, and neonatal nurses, to ensure coordinated care for the mother and baby.

Qualifications:

BSN and North Dakota license or participating compact license

Certifications and Experience
> Currently licensed in the State of North Dakota
> Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
> Leadership experience is a bonus
> Must have basic computer skills
