This role necessitates sharp analytical thinking, the capability to swiftly address complex ambiguous problems, and apply your analytical, technical, and engineering proficiency to analyze, validate, visualize, prototype, and deliver solutions promptly.

Furthermore, this position involves extensive cross-functional engagement and alignment with transportation, tech, operations, and finance teams. Successful candidates are those who thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a profound understanding of Amazon's Middle Mile operations and supply chain
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of large datasets to solve critical business queries using SQL, Excel, and other data manipulation languages
  • Systematically identify data sources, analyze data, and establish data pipelines to shape product roadmaps based on business needs
  • Effectively convey complex insights to stakeholders through verbal communication, written reports, visualization, and dashboards
  • Conduct intricate data research to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing delivery speed, fill rate, cost efficiency, and support strategic decision-making
  • Monitor existing metrics, devise new metrics, and collaborate with internal teams to recognize process and system enhancement prospects
  • Conduct and lead both recurring and ad-hoc business intelligence initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight
  • Demonstrated experience in defining requirements, deriving business insights from data and metrics, and making informed recommendations
  • At least 3 years of experience in business or financial analysis, product costing, procurement, or a quantitative role
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining automated forecasting models using regression or statistical methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or related field
  • Proficiency in a modeling language such as Python or R

To maintain fairness in compensation across various U.S. markets, our base pay for this role ranges from $94,600/year to $185,000/year depending on the geographic area and factors like job-related expertise, skills, and experience.
