In this Clinical Social Worker role at the award-winning Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, you will provide a range of services to multidisciplinary teams in psychiatric inpatient, partial hospital, and outpatient programs serving child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
Duties may include psychosocial assessment; care coordination; consultation to team; individual, family, or group psychotherapeutic treatment; liaison with community agencies; teaching trainees of various disciplines; treatment planning; disposition planning and advocacy; and representing the hospital in probable cause hearings for LPS holds.

Please note this is a full-time limited appointment for 3-months and may convert to career.CSW 2 salary range:
$ $52.79 Hourly CSW 3 salary range: $ $57.40 Hourly
Qualifications
Required:
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a program accredited by the United States Council on Social Work.
- Excellent skills in interpersonal communication and documentation, as well as clinical knowledge of individual, family social, & cultural issues in mental illness.
- Knowledge of laws and procedures related to child and elder/dependent adult abuse, knowledge of laws pertaining to Tarasoff Reporting.
- Knowledge of evidencebased interventions for suicidality with understanding of risk levels, and ability to formulate safety plan with patients and families.
- Knowledge of DSM and related treatment approaches, and ability to plan and conduct therapeutic groups.
- Knowledge of levels of care and community resources available for persons with mental illness.
