Tessa International school is a fast-growing bilingual, international school located in Hoboken, New Jersey, just one subway stop from Manhattan, New York. We currently enroll students from early childhood to the 3rd Grade, with plans to expand to the 5th grade in the coming years.

We are an International Baccalaureate World School. Our preschool section is also accredited by the French Ministry of National Education, and we are in the process of seeking accreditation for the elementary levels.

From Nursery through Kindergarten, children learn 80% of the time in the target languages and 20% of the time in English. Starting in grade 1, children learn 50% of the time in the target languages and 50% in English.

For the school year, we are looking for a Spanish Lead teacher to be a lead for our Primary class. This position provides excellent opportunities to explore new teaching practices within an international, positive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing classes in collaboration with English language primary teachers,
  • Preparing weekly newsletters to parents,
  • Preparing report cards and conferences,
  • Participating in meetings as required by the Head of School,
  • Maintaining assessment records,
  • Keeping their classroom, as well as the School, tidy and presentable,
  • Represent Tessa in alignment with its Mission and Core Beliefs,
