We are establishing a global network security engineering function that plays a crucial role in safeguarding Worldpay's digital assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.
As a Network Security Engineer Senior, you will be well experienced ensuring the security of network environments against cyber threats and ensuring compliance with various regulatory standards and frameworks.
Continuously monitor network security risk posture and compliance to security architecture and standards against threats to network infrastructure.
Deliver and execute projects on the security technical roadmap via security and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with technology partners to enable agile secure implementations of network solutions.
Mature network security capabilities by automation across all network platforms.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for network security services.
Create and maintain documentation and diagrams of internal security solutions.
Knowledge share and technical coaching to develop team members.
Participate in incident response activities related to network security incidents as needed.
Stay abreast of new security technology, emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and security controls.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
5-7 years of professional experience in network security or engineering.
Experience with evaluating, reviewing, and deploying network security tools.
Hands-on experience with monitoring, configuring rules, and enforcement using network security platforms such asFirewalls, Web Application Firewalls, or IDS/IPS.
Strong analytical skills including solving and communicating complex problems, data analytics, measurement and reporting needed to drive continuous improvement.
Proficiency in information security domains, including policies and standards, risk and control assessments, regulatory compliance, risk and control governance and metrics, and issue management.
Added bonus if you have:
CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE or other relevant network certifications.
CISSP, CCSP or other relevant security certifications.
Experience working with Cloud WAFs.
Familiar with Linux systems.
