About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our Operational Technology (OT) Network Engineering Team at Procter & Gamble. As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting network solutions that interface with our manufacturing systems and networks, including firewall, LAN, and wireless services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the lifecycle management of network solutions used in the OT space, ensuring Enterprise compliance, high availability, and long-term viability of key solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network, cloud, and security groups, to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
  • Provide second-level network Incident Management, focusing on service restoration and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Develop and deliver training to Network Operations staff, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Communicate effectively with internal customers, including Project Managers, Operations, Business Units, Suppliers, Peer Organizations, and IT stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical/IT field, OR 5+ years of relevant network experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Industrial Ethernet networking used in manufacturing environments, including Rockwell and Siemens.
  • 3+ years of experience working with a TCP/IP network.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking infrastructure suppliers and service offerings, including Cisco, F5 Networks, Juniper, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
  • Demonstrable understanding of network load balancers and firewalls.
  • Expertise with operating systems, including Cisco IOS/NXOS, Juniper JunOS, Linux, Unix, and Microsoft.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite for effective teamwork and communications.
  • Available to work in Cincinnati, OH, on a hybrid work schedule, which may include up to 30% travel to US manufacturing sites.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One or more networking certifications, such as CCNA, CCNA Industrial, or CCNP.
  • One or more security certifications, such as GICSP or IEC 62443.
  • Experience with applications and services.
  • Familiarity with IT governance standards and compliance, including ITIL and CIS.
