Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid must report to office every Wednesday and Thursday)

Role Type: 12-month contract ( No third-party agencies allowed)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Value Stream Manager (VSM) to oversee and optimize the entire value stream from initial client contact through to the delivery of financial solutions. The VSM will manage the full solution lifecycle, ensuring efficient, timely, and high-quality delivery of financial services while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement. This role will involve leading cross-functional teams to drive lean principles, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Leadership and Team Management:

  1. Lead and manage the value stream team, including lean process analysts, client support, compliance, and operational personnel.
  2. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  3. Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for team members.

2) Value Stream Optimization:

  1. Develop and implement value stream maps to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
  2. Analyze current state processes and design future state processes that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  3. Drive lean initiatives and best practices.

3) Value Stream Management:

  1. Ensure service delivery schedules are met and that solutions are provided on time and within value stream budget.
  2. Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure value stream performance meets targets.
  3. Coordinate with value stream stakeholders to resolve service issues.

4) SAFe Implementation:

  1. Agile at Scale: Facilitate the adoption of SAFe practices like Epics, User Stories, Program Increments (PIs), and Continuous Delivery.
  2. Flow Management: Identify and remove bottlenecks that impede smooth work flow within the value stream.
  3. Metrics and Measurement: Define and track key metrics to measure the performance of the value stream (e.g., cycle time, lead time, defect rate). Use data to identify improvement opportunities and track progress.

5) Continuous Improvement:

  1. Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
  2. Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts.
  3. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation throughout the value stream.

6) Quality Assurance:

  1. Ensure all financial solutions meet quality standards and client specifications.
  2. Work closely with the compliance department to address quality issues and implement preventive measures.
  3. Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and drive improvement initiatives.

7) Customer Focus:

  1. Act as the primary point of contact for client issues related to the value stream.
  2. Drive initiatives to improve client satisfaction and loyalty.

8) Full Solution Lifecycle Management:

  1. Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of financial solutions from initial client contact and needs assessment through to solution delivery and post-delivery support.
  2. Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to align value stream activities with market and client needs.
  3. Ensure seamless integration of new financial products and solutions into the value stream, maintaining alignment with overall business objectives and strategic goals.
  4. Manage post-delivery support and continuous improvement efforts to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial services or operations, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of lean principles and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe 6.0) practices.
  • Strong understanding of lean principles and tools.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving operational excellence.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
