About the Position
Dexis is seeking a Board of Directors Liaison to assist the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), the American institution for development finance. Working closely with the private sector, DFC finances solutions to the most significant challenges faced by the developing world today.
DFC's Board of Directors is comprised of officials from various agencies and private sector members, collectively holding the decision-making authority. This position involves providing support and oversight in the execution of the Corporation's business operations.
Located at 1100 New York Ave NW in Washington D.C, this role is subject to award confirmation.
Responsibilities
- Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on ongoing interagency policies and processes.
- Coordinate DFC's responses to issues within the interagency framework.
- Track and contribute to DFC's feedback on executive orders and other relevant policies.
- Gather input from federal agencies on DFC projects and activities.
- Assist in preparing responses to Board inquiries during formal Q&A sessions.
- Identify policies for review during governance meetings and ensure consistent integration into Board documents.
- Facilitate communication on interagency policies within DFC and other relevant entities.
- Engage with stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and advocate for DFC interests.
- Collaborate with origination teams and State Department on vetting processes.
Interagency Reviews
- Analyze partner agency feedback on DFC initiatives.
- Review matters presented before the Board or interagency processes.
- Prepare documents for internal use by DFC government personnel.
Qualifications
- Hold or be eligible for a Secret level security clearance.
- Reside in the DC Metropolitan area and able to work at DFC headquarters.
- Law degree from an accredited institution with legal work experience.
- Minimum 10 years as a licensed practicing attorney.
- Extensive experience with DFC Board Agencies and expertise in environmental, social policies, and international development finance.
- Proficiency in energy, infrastructure, finance issues, and international development finance.
- Familiarity with PRC and Chinese state-owned enterprises.
