Responsibilities:

  • Lead logistics and warehousing processes at Sparta Plant and AHC Distribution Centers
  • Manage Sparta and AHC Distribution Centers' needs and material handling equipment
  • Identify and implement cost reduction and process improvements
  • Manage transportation program and compliance requirements
  • Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) in all plant and distribution center locations
  • Support organization with warehousing needs and inventory management
  • Establish security procedures and monitor warehouse operations
  • Coordinate trailer locations and customer delivery planning
  • Develop production schedule based on customer orders and forecasts
  • Control inventory levels and conduct physical counts
  • Oversee network team and warehouse operational requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field OR minimum 5 years of operations experience
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%
