JOB SUMMARY:
Engages with partners (client representatives and common carrier agents) to guarantee outstanding customer service.
Ensures a safe working environment through effective management of team members.

Oversees daily operations of designated work groups to meet and implement all partner and Capstone Logistics' standards effectively.

Distributes tasks among team members fairly.
Handles freight as necessary, adhering to company standards and timelines while ensuring a safe work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in an industrial environment.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of customer service to both internal and external partners.
Capability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse personnel.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced setting.
Intermediate computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ensure daily partner requirements are fulfilled.

Document and address any customer service or associate issues daily, reporting them to the Regional Director or Director as needed.

Ensure all associates adhere to Capstone Logistics policies and safety regulations.
Conduct weekly safety meetings and promote associate participation.
Schedule associate shifts according to partner needs.
Assist in the recruitment, orientation, and training of new team members.
Negotiate dock-level rates with common carrier representatives.
Supervise accurate and timely data entry for all services rendered.
Comply with all administrative reporting and financial policies and procedures.

Complete daily closeout processes, including cash balancing, data uploads, and payroll record management in accordance with Capstone Logistics policies and standard operating procedures.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods in a warehouse setting (concrete flooring and varying temperatures).
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Computer data entry proficiency.
Ability to work in both cold and hot weather conditions.
Must be certified to operate manual or powered material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or two or more years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A college degree is preferred.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.
