Job Role

Based in Sunnyvale CA, we are seeking an individual who will play a crucial role in shaping the future strategy, providing leadership, technical expertise, and mentorship in global spare parts support for minimally invasive robotic surgical equipment. This key position requires effective leadership of the Services Logistics Department to meet the demands of our expanding global business and support field operations. Demonstrated success in a cross-functional global environment is essential, alongside exceptional leadership, team-building, coaching, and mentorship skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a global spare parts logistics strategy aligned with our manufacturing and Customer Experience plans
  • Act as the primary representative for key strategic changes in logistics
  • Build and lead a high-performance team capable of driving excellence in logistics operations
  • Analyze operational costs to optimize efficiency while meeting customer needs
  • Strategize and implement global Forward Stocking Location strategy
  • Collaborate with Services Planning team to maintain optimal Customer Support Inventory levels
  • Ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction in part request fulfillment processes
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and drive best practices across regions
  • Manage cross-functional projects and enhance performance through KPIs and metrics
  • Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned
Requirements

Skill/Job Requirements:

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of managerial experience with proven leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 to 10 years of relevant experience; Master's degree preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Service Logistics, Customer Service, Field Service, and other related operational areas
  • Prior experience in Service Logistics and Field Service (medical equipment background preferred)
  • Familiarity with general manufacturing practices and US export/import regulations
  • Understanding of Business Information Systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects successfully
