Description

Responsible for the coordination of care and mental health referral services of Alaska CARES program, providing assessment and referral for children and families. Assists multidisciplinary team to recognize and respond to mental health needs of vulnerable, abused children.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related health care field.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 2 years of working with children and families, preferably in child protection system, mental health clinic or agency.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience with OCS, law enforcement, and/or multi-problem families.
