Construction Inspector (Limited Duration)


Join Otak for an exciting opportunity as a skilled Construction Inspector on a limited duration project near beautiful coastal towns Newport and Manzanita, Oregon This role offers an opportunity to advance your career by overseeing and inspecting a complex project while collaborating with our experienced project managers to ensure the successful completion of public works infrastructure projects.

This is a full-time, limited duration position scheduled from July through October 2024 (lodging, per-diem and transportation provided).

What you'll do:
Ensure site observations and Weekly Site Report are completed, tracked and documented.
Review and interpret construction documents, site drawings, as-built drawings, and specifications.
Assist in resolving construction issues by clarifying plans and specifications.
Submittal review; monitor that the contractor is providing approved items through submittal process.
Assists SPM or PM in ensuring all permits are procured and the applicant is following all jurisdictional requirements.
Assess and review change order requests.

What you bring:
ODOT Construction Inspector certification(s) highly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction, technical or design related field desired.
Valid driver's license including a good driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and work location as well as market and business considerations.

Pay Range:
$40 - $48 per hour
