Position OverviewAs an Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing new CMP process and Wet Process technology to meet HDD requirements throughout the product life cycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with wafer wet process development engineers and technicians to drive CMP new process development, methodology setup, and advanced tooling delivery for new product launches.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to incorporate CMP designs or address integration issues.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts in the development line, conduct defect and root cause analyses, and implement necessary actions.
- Ensure seamless transfer of new processes to manufacturing engineering (ME) and support the ME team during the implementation and ramp-up phases.
- Leverage quantitative analysis and innovative machine learning technology for wafer wet process module data analysis to enhance process development performance.
Required:
- MS, or PhD degree in physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or related fields.
- In-depth understanding of microelectronics wafer fabrication processes, including CMP, photolithography, etching, electroplating, or thin film deposition.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated hands-on experience and enthusiasm for working in wafer fab environments.
Skills:
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and support functions.
