Ball-Chatham is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our existing Titan Talent as a
1-on-1 School Nurse (RN or LPN) at Chatham Elementary School

The selected candidate will be assigned 1:1 with a student for the school year.
  • RN starting wage: $30.38/hr, commensurate with experience
  • LPN starting wage: $20.50/hr, commensurate with experience
WHAT DO 1-ON-1 NURSES DO?
  • Provides individual 1-on-1 care to assigned student throughout the duration of the school day, including transport to and from school, as applicable
  • Serve as a health education resource person to students, staff, and families
  • Maintains an accurate health record for the student including data regarding medical problems and care administered
JOB BENEFITS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licenced Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of IL

  • Considerable knowledge of medical disorders and treatments, especially as it relates to children and adolescents
  • Considerable knowledge of child growth and development
  • Working knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social service agencies
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of school health services
