Job Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service - handling patient registration and related duties.
  • Administration - scheduling appointments, following up on missed or canceled appointments, verifying patient insurance eligibility.
  • Compliance - maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality, and complying with all relevant policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of work experience.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in outpatient clinic reception is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English written and verbal communication.
  • Familiarity with common office software.
  • Comfortable working long hours in front of a computer.
  • Commitment to professional development.
  • Experience with HIV/AIDS patients is desirable.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with eClinicalWorks EMR is advantageous.
