We are seeking a Full-Time Patient Associate for our Jackson Heights location. If you are customer-focused, friendly, organized, and punctual, you might be the ideal fit for our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Customer Service - handling patient registration and related duties.
- Administration - scheduling appointments, following up on missed or canceled appointments, verifying patient insurance eligibility.
- Compliance - maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality, and complying with all relevant policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of work experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Previous experience in outpatient clinic reception is a plus.
- Proficiency in English written and verbal communication.
- Familiarity with common office software.
- Comfortable working long hours in front of a computer.
- Commitment to professional development.
- Experience with HIV/AIDS patients is desirable.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Spanish language proficiency is a bonus.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks EMR is advantageous.
